Clinical Supervision for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns
I provide supervision for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns rooted in over a decade of clinical experience across all levels of care, including inpatient, residential, PHP/IOP, outpatient, and private practice. Since 2017, I’ve worked as an experiential trauma therapist in private practice, offering an integrative, whole-person approach to healing and professional development.
Supervision is available in a hybrid format to support structure, flexibility, and clinical growth:
-
One in-person meeting per month (required). This requirement is outlined in Rule 64B4-2.002(3) of the Florida Administrative Code
-
Ongoing virtual support (phone or video) throughout the month
-
Group supervision is available when schedules align and interest is shared
My supervision philosophy is experiential and trauma-informed, focused on helping interns develop a grounded therapeutic presence, clinical intuition, and ethical awareness. I offer a collaborative, reflective space where personal growth and professional identity unfold in parallel.
My approach draws from a wide range of training and experience, including:
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
-
Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)
-
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
-
Certified Sex Informed Therapy Professional (CSITP)
-
Integrative Relationship Therapy (IRT)
-
Trauma-sensitive mindfulness and yoga (RYT-200)
-
Utilization review and insurance navigation
-
Research assisting in the areas of mind-body interventions and clinical outcomes
-
Biohacking and brain-based tools (including nervous system regulation, vagal toning, and cognitive optimization techniques)
-
Spiritually integrated practices (including intuitive tools such as tarot, when appropriate to the client’s worldview and clinical goals)
Intern Requirement:
To complete your supervision with me, you must complete a specialty training of your choice by the time your hours are submitted to the board for licensure. This allows you to expand your scope, deepen your skill set, and develop a unique professional identity. Training may be in any relevant area, such as trauma, couples work, expressive arts, spirituality, neurobiology, or other aligned fields.
Next Steps:
An in-person interview is required before finalizing placement. I'm also happy to offer my resume, answer any questions you may have, and provide a copy of the clinical intern agreement for your review.
If you’re looking for supervision that honors your clinical development, personal growth, and authentic voice as a healer, I’d be honored to support you on your path to licensure.
